How it works

Five dailies, one streak

Every day brings five daily puzzles, the same for everyone playing in your language: Lexi, another word game, Hot & Cold, a number or logic game, and the game you have not seen for longest. Win three of them to keep your streak, and all five for a perfect day. Daily puzzles are always free. Every other game is a practice puzzle that day, and practice puzzles use energy that refills by itself.

Lost a daily? You can make it up with coins: you get a fresh puzzle of the same game, and a win counts as the daily won.

Today's place and the passport

The place hidden in Hot & Cold's daily is Today's place. Win that daily and the place is stamped into your passport, and its story opens: its flag, where it is on the map, its numbers, a few fun facts, a little culture and a short quiz. Your passport is in the Me tab, and opens every story again.

Coins and the estate

Solving puzzles earns coins. Spend them on a hint when you are stuck, or on buildings for your island estate. The buildings earn while you are away, make hints cheaper, add energy, and the fences can save your streak on a day you miss.

The games

• Word games: Lexi, Lexi Count, Lexi Ladder, Lexi Lie, Lexi Swap and Lexi Gap.
• Number and logic games: 2048, 15 Puzzle, Sandwich Sudoku, Lights Out, Equato and Lighthouses.
• Map games: Atlas Route, Atlas Hot & Cold, States Route and States Hot & Cold. In Turkish, the two States games are played on a map of Türkiye instead.

Frequently asked

• Does it work offline? Yes. Every puzzle plays without a connection, and there is no account to sign in to. Today's place downloads its photos and music when you are online. The app fetches the next two days ahead of time, so they are usually ready. Without them, the story still opens.
• Do I need an account? No. There is no login and no sign up.
• Does my progress move to my other devices? On iPhone and iPad, your streak, history, coins, estate and passport follow your iCloud account to your other Apple devices. On Android, they come back when you set up a new phone from a Google backup. Progress does not move between an iPhone and an Android phone.
• Why did my streak end? A day keeps your streak when you win three of its five dailies on that day. A daily won later, for example from a shared link, still counts as a win but cannot save a day that has passed. Fences on your estate can hold a missed day.
• How do I get a daily reminder? Open the Me tab, then Settings, and switch on "Daily reminder." Pick the hour that suits you. You can move it or turn it off in the same place.
• How do I send feedback? Open the Me tab, then Settings, then "Share feedback." We read every note, but we cannot reply to it, so email us if you need an answer.
• How do I report a bug? Email us with your device model and a short note on what happened.
• How do I turn off analytics? Open the Me tab, then Settings, and switch off "Share anonymous usage data." The Privacy Policy explains what it covers.
